Your checklist lives in your browser
When you pick a school, hall, or check items off, that state is saved to localStorage in your browser. It is not sent to a server, not tied to an account, and not visible to us. If you clear your browser data, your list goes with it. To move your list to another device, generate a share link — that encodes your list into a URL that you control.
What we measure
We use Vercel's privacy-friendly analytics (Web Analytics + Speed Insights) to count page views, route paths, and rough device class — no cookies, no fingerprinting, no individual tracking. We use this to know which school pages are working and which are slow. Vercel's own privacy statement explains the technical details: vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Amazon affiliate links
Every "View on Amazon" button is an affiliate link with our Associate tag baked in (tag=hayfinery-20). You pay the same price; we earn a small commission. The link goes through our /go/[item] redirect so we can count which items are clicked, in aggregate. We do not link clicks to individual users.
Email captures (if you give us one)
If you ask us to "notify me when [school] launches," we store the email address solely to send that one notification. We don't sell it, don't share it with brands, and don't use it for anything else. To delete it, email help@roomready.university and we'll remove it within a day.
What we don't do
No accounts. No cookies of our own (Vercel Analytics doesn't set any). No tracking pixels. No ad networks. No data sales. No newsletter sign-ups disguised as something else.
