What RoomReady is
A free, independent dorm move-in checklist for incoming college freshmen. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any university, residence-life office, or retailer. Every school's housing page is the source of truth for that school's rules — we cite them, but they can change between when we last checked and when you read this.
Use at your own risk
We try hard to get the facts right (bed sizes, AC, banned items, move-in dates), but housing policies change and our data may be out of date or wrong. Always verify with your school's housing office before making a purchase you can't return. RoomReady is provided "as is" with no warranty of any kind — express or implied — and we won't be liable for damages from the use of (or inability to use) the site, the information it contains, or the products it links to.

Your content
Your checklist state lives in your browser. The "share my list" URL is something you create and choose to share — anyone with that link can read the list. We don't accept user-generated content beyond optional emails for "notify me at launch."
Intellectual property
The RoomReady name, the copy on the site, the curated item-rationale text, and the page design are ours. Product photos and brand names belong to the respective manufacturers. University names are used nominatively to identify each school's housing context — see the "What RoomReady is" section.
Reporting errors
Spotted a wrong fact, a stale link, or a banned-item miss? Email help@roomready.university. We fix things within a day.
Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date at the top is the easy way to spot when. Material changes get called out on the home page.
